The Cloverleaf Colts will face off against the Streetsboro Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cloverleaf is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.
On Monday, Cloverleaf made easy work of Woodridge and carried off a 15-2 victory. Considering the Colts have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Alyson Croft made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Croft was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
In other pitching news, Kennedy Bailey looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Caroline Sitko, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Newton, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Cloverleaf always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Streetsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 17-0 to Field.
Cloverleaf's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Streetsboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
Everything went Cloverleaf's way against Streetsboro in their previous meeting back in April, as Cloverleaf made off with a 14-1 victory. Do the Colts have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rockets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
