They came out on top against Tri County Northeast by a score of 41-31. Given Pender's advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while Tri County Northeast is ranked 208th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Pender's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aiden Beckman, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Alex Roth, who scored 13 points.
Pender is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Tri County Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
