Floyd Central's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braden Moore, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Moore has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chris Spriggs, who scored 21 points along with five assists.
Floyd Central has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Lawrence County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-4.
