The Yuba City Honkers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 11th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 92-43 loss at the hands of Inderkum. Yuba City has not had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Yuba City lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Arshdeep Grewal, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Lenard Friolet, who scored five points.
Yuba City has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for Inderkum, they pushed their record up to 17-6 with that win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.
Yuba City will head out on the road to take on the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Roseville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Honkers in California (the Tigers are ranked 328th, while the Honkers are ranked 757th). As for Inderkum, they will square off against the Rams at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Daniel Huerta and Jeremiah Butler.
