Rochester is 2-8 against the Scotties since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rochester Rams will head out on the road to challenge the Union Area Scotties at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Rochester sitting on six straight victories and the Scotties on five.
Last Friday, Rochester strolled past the Cougars with points to spare, taking the game 54-40.
Meanwhile, Union Area didn't have too much trouble with the Golden Beavers on the road on Friday as they won 67-49.
Rochester is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Union Area, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-9.
Things could have been worse for Rochester, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 50-36 loss to the Scotties when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Union Area's Lucas Stanley, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. Now that Rochester knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
