Quinn Mitchell made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Delhi Charter is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-6 otherwise. Mitchell was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
In other batting news, Delhi Charter got a massive performance out of Thomas Mize, who scored four runs and stole Six bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Delhi Charter is undefeated when Mize posts two or more runs, but 2-7 otherwise. Delhi Charter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southwood only posted a batting average of .111.
