It was a good run, but the Oaks Christian Lions unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Chatsworth by a score of 55-52.
Alijah Arenas continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Chatsworth, scoring 28 points along with five assists and five rebounds. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Arenas has scored at least 25% of Chatsworth's points. Taj Unuakhalu was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Oaks Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Chatsworth, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.
Oaks Christian and Hart will face off at 2:00 p.m. on December 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hart has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 561 points over their last eight games. Chatsworth won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Notre Dame (SO) at 8:00 p.m. on December 22nd. One thing working in Notre Dame (SO)'s favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
