Brady Stober and Co. Win 21st in a Row
Brady Stober's big game helped extend Hickory's winning streak to 21 on Wednesday. Stober threw for 453 yards and five touchdowns while completing 92% of his passes, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.
North Lincoln's probably not too fond of Stober given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Stober saw the Knights), he threw for 230 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81% of his passes.

A Season-Best Performance from Tim Folk Leads North Lincoln over Hickory
On Wednesday, North Lincoln had to settle for second even though Tim Folk put up the best numbers he has all season. Folk rushed for 157 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also picked up 62 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards.
North Lincoln moved to 4-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. They and North Iredell are set to duel on Monday.

Jamien Little was instrumental in extending Hickory's winning streak to 21 on Wednesday. Little picked up 210 receiving yards and three touchdowns, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.
If history really does repeat itself, Little might just drop another big game when he faces off against St. Stephens on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Little saw the Indians), he picked up 130 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

East Lincoln Gets a Boost from Lawless in 41-10 Win
Grant Lawless was a major factor in East Lincoln's victory over West Iredell on Friday. Lawless was dynamite, throwing for 213 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 50 yards and a touchdown.
East Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 4-2. Lawless and East Lincoln will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Stephens at 7:30 p.m. on October 18th.

Christopher Daley Ii Turns in Season-Best Performance
East Lincoln was led to victory by Christopher Daley Ii, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Daley Ii rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns.
Daley Ii and East Lincoln will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Stephens at 7:30 p.m. on October 18th. The Mustangs got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Indians, probably because Daley Ii had a solid game then too: he rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
