The Prairiland Patriots suffered their biggest loss since December 21, 2023 on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Edgewood, falling 52-21. Prairiland has struggled against Edgewood recently, as their game on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Edgewood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Blair McPherson, who scored 23 points. Kassidy Paul was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Prairiland has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-16 record this season. As for Edgewood, their win was their 20th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-8.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Lone Oak the next time they take the court. Edgewood will head out to face Lone Oak at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Prairiland will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
