Argo scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were dealt a 48-20 defeat at the hands of the Oak Lawn Spartans. The loss leaves the Argonauts still looking for their first win of the season.

Argo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Oak Lawn, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Argo will face off against rival Richards at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Oak Lawn is set to take on their familiar foe Evergreen Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Spartans 14.8, the Mustangs 13) so any points scored will be well earned.
