Trumbull won the last time they faced Bridgeport Central and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Hilltoppers with a sharp 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Trumbull pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Bridgeport Central, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
