There's no place like home for Northgate, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against San Ramon Valley on Saturday and snuck past 2-1. For Northgate, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 defeat San Ramon Valley walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2018.
Northgate was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Mateo Gonzalez and
Brady Brown, who scored.
The victory got Northgate back to even at 5-5-2. As for San Ramon Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northgate will take on Clayton Valley Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clayton Valley Charter will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for San Ramon Valley, they will be playing at home against Dublin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dublin has not scored a goal the last three times they've played, a trend they'll try and put an end to.
