The Apex Friendship Patriots will face off against the Green Hope Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Apex Friendship will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
If Apex Friendship beats Green Hope with ten runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Patriots never let Panther Creek get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Monday. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Caden Oxendine looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Connor Sousa was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Braden Bloom, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Green Hope, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past Apex 10-9. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won three in a row.
Jackson Wall looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits.
At the plate, Green Hope let Mason Dean and Ryu Fukuyama run wild. Dean got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI, while Fukuyama got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Fukuyama has become a key player for Green Hope: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-11 otherwise. Sam Weinraub was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Green Hope always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Apex Friendship's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Green Hope, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.
Apex Friendship skirted past Green Hope 7-5 when the teams last played back in March. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
