Boiling Springs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They snuck past Trinity with a 79-74 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Boiling Springs' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ethan Yenser led the charge by scoring 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Yenser has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brayden Richie, who scored 16 points.
Middletown posted their biggest victory yet this season on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 65-40 margin over Camp Hill.
Boiling Springs' victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Middletown, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.
Boiling Springs didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Middletown in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 52-46 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Boiling Springs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
