There's no place like home for the Chatham Cavaliers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  last Tuesday. They walked away with  a   59-52  victory over Appomattox County  on Friday. This was a revenge  contest for Chatham, as the team was forced to settle for a  59-52 defeat when these two played  two weeks ago.
 It was another big night for  Jonavan Coles, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 27 points and nine  rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 21 or more points the last three times he's  played.  Steven Glass was another key contributor,  scoring 13 points.
 Chatham's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-10. Those good results were due in large part to their  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Appomattox County, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
 Chatham will head out on the road to  take on  Dan River at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Chatham is facing Dan River at the right time seeing as Dan River is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Appomattox County, they will be playing at home against William Campbell at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. William Campbell will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Appomattox County surely won't give up without a fight.
