Makayla Simon posted a new career-high in hits on Friday. She scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.

Simon and Northeast will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pinellas Park at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
