Lorena won the last time they faced Gatesville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lorena Leopards strolled past the Gatesville Hornets with points to spare, taking the game 59-42. Winning may never get old, but the Leopards sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Lorena's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Gatesville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Lorena will square off against Connally at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Lorena's favor as the team sits on nine straight wins at home while Connally has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. As for Gatesville, they will face off against China Spring at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
