When it comes to explaining why Globe lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jonas Dillon. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points along with two steals and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Josiah Cutter, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Coolidge was led to victory by Ja'kwan Jordan and Tory Gholston. Jordan scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and five steals, while Gholston dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 assists. Jordan is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 11 games he's played. Isaiah Slaughter was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Globe dropped their record down to 5-18 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Coolidge, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.
Globe will head out on the road to challenge American Leadership Academy - Ironwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in American Leadership Academy - Ironwood's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Coolidge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Florence focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Thursday.
