The Fulton Pirates will square off against the Webberville Spartans at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Fulton and St. Charles had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Pirates put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 19-12 victory on Friday.

The team relied heavily on Kerrigan Ryan, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Drummond, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
Fulton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Webberville had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Panthers. That's two games straight that the Spartans have won by exactly ten runs.
Makayla Culver made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Culver was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Valerie Grosser was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jenna Lycos, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three RBI and one run.
Webberville's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Fulton, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.
