Waterford was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Brookfield East on Saturday. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Spartans. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by eight runs or more this season.

With the victory, Waterford broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 17-8. As for Brookfield East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterford will challenge St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brookfield East, they will square off against South Milwaukee at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
