Bleckley County found their leader in underclassman Joshua Stanley, who rushed for 159 yards while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Stanley's longest rush was for an incredible 72 yards. Kam'ryn Everett was another key contributor, throwing for 126 yards and two touchdowns.
Swainsboro's lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Demello Jones, who rushed for 177 yards while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 72 yards and a touchdown on only four passes. Another player making a difference was Jordon Williams, who gained 131 total yards and two touchdowns.
Bleckley County's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-2. As for Swainsboro, their defeat ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-1.
