Volleyball Recap: Community School of Davidson's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Community School of Davidson extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Jordan Famularo. The Spartans came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Pine Lake Prep Pride thanks in part to Famularo, who had 24 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.5 digs per game.

Community School of Davidson was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (102-100), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-22, 25-19, 17-25, 15-11.

When it comes to explaining why Pine Lake Prep lost on Tuesday, don't look at Kate Craver. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and four assists.

Community School of Davidson's victory bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Pine Lake Prep, their defeat ended an eight-match streak of away wins and brought them to 16-4.

Looking ahead, Community School of Davidson will face off against Lake Norman Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pine Lake Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
