Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Laytonville). Everything went their way against the Technology Titans on Friday as they made off with a 25-3 victory. Brigid Henry was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Henry is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least two every time she's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Kylie Waring, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Laytonville hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Technology struck out 11 times.
The win made it two in a row for Laytonville and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.5 runs over those games. As for Technology, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
