The Clearwater Valley Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 72-69 victory over Genesee. The victory was just what Clearwater Valley needed coming off of a 85-54 loss in their prior contest.
When it comes to explaining why Genesee lost, one person who can't be blamed is Seth Vestal. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 32 points and 0 assists. Vestal also pulled down eight rebounds for the first time this season. Noah Bollman was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Clearwater Valley's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11. As for Genesee, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.
Clearwater Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Genesee, they will head out on the road to face off against Timberline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Timberline is on a four-game streak of home losses, Genesee a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
