McKenzie's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jay Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jackson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Mcmillian, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.
McKenzie's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Pleasant Home, their victory bumped their record up to 16-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKenzie will take on Opp at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Opp has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 8. As for Pleasant Home, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Red Level at 7:15 p.m. Red Level has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 620 points over their last nine matchups.
