The Apex Friendship Patriots won the last time they faced the Northwood Chargers, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. Apex Friendship came out on top against Northwood by a score of  58-51. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Apex Friendship.
  Jasmine Nivar was on fire: she  dropped  a double-double on 33 points and 13  rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which  she has scored at least 25% of Apex Friendship's points. Another player making a difference was  Avery Kiger, who  scored 10 points along with 5  rebounds.
 Several Chargers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Skylar Adams, who  scored 14 points along with 5  assists and 5  rebounds. Adams scored a full 27.5% of Northwood's points, the second time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Neah Henry, who  scored 8 points along with 6  rebounds and 4  steals.
 Even though they lost, Northwood  were smashing the offensive glass and  finished the game with 20  offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Apex Friendship only pulled down eight.
 Apex Friendship's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Northwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apex Friendship will  face off against Willow Spring at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Willow Spring will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Northwood, they will head out on the road to face off against North Moore at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
