This season hasn't been kind to the Highland Rams, who are still winless after their 14th matchup. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 53-31 walloping at the hands of Brighton on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Highland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Bengals are ranked 27th).
Danae Asiata was Highland's leading scorer, having posted 11 points.
Grace Szwedko held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.
Highland's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Brighton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-5.
Highland will head out on the road to face off against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Alta is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games. As for Brighton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
