McClatchy won the last time they faced West Campus and things went their way on Monday too. The Lions walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

McClatchy saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayeliza Rogers, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Rogers hit this season.

McClatchy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Campus only posted a batting average of .222.

McClatchy's record is now 8-3. As for West Campus, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McClatchy will head out to face off against Grant at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions are facing the Pacers at the right time seeing as the Pacers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for West Campus, they will take on Johnson at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Johnson will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something West Campus surely won't give up without a fight.
