James Moore put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Bear Creek's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 2-1 (and 4-13 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Moore and Bear Creek will square off against Loveland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last time these two faced off, Moore and Co. were forced to settle for a 16-10 loss.
