This season hasn't been kind to Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, who are still winless after their fourth game. They took a serious blow against Franklin Road Christian on Friday, falling 85-42.
Franklin Road Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Pence, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The match was Pence's 15th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Walker, who scored 24 points along with nine rebounds.
Mount Pisgah Christian Academy bumped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. As for Franklin Road Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.
Mount Pisgah Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Maryville Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 12, 2024. Franklin Road Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Knoxville A at 5:00 p.m. on December 22nd.
