Woodland will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Colfax in at at Pioneer High School (Woodland) at 5:30 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Everything went their way against River Valley last Friday as the team secured a 41-0 win.
Meanwhile, Colfax took care of business in their home opener. They steamrollered Bear River 35-0.
Their wins bumped Colfax to 1-0 and Woodland to 1-0. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
