Anthony Elizondo and Elijah Hernandez certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Elizondo scored 15 points along with four steals, while Hernandez scored 11 points. That was a full 38.5% of Diamond Hill-Jarvis' points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Diamond Hill-Jarvis has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Western Hills, their win bumped their record up to 10-16.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Young Men's Leadership Academy the next time they take the court. Western Hills will host Young Men's Leadership Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Diamond Hill-Jarvis will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
