Christian Home Educators Fellowship's Ethan Costa rumbled for the longest rushing play in Louisiana Christian this season in his game against Beauregard Christian Academy last week. Costa ran for 75 yards on the play and finished with 73 on the day as his team bested Beauregard Christian Academy.
Covenant Christian Academy moved up to 137 from 177 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Lions were able to make the jump by beating Lake Area New Tech 55-0.
Christian Home Educators Fellowship's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Arek Moslander threw for 149 and four touchdowns and Spencer Costa had 80 yards receiving. On the ground Tyler Dixon chipped in 108 yards. Timothy Costa helped Christian Home Educators Fellowship's passing attack out by catching two balls for 54 yards.
Christian Home Educators Fellowship's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Patriots feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Moslander has thrown for 445 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Costa has 13 catches for 239 yards. Dixon leads the league in rushing with 295 yards.
A big matchup in Louisiana Christian this week will be when New Orleans HomeSchool Saints takes on Acadiana HomeSchool. As it stands, the Saints are in fourth, while the Commandos are in third.
Covenant Christian Academy took down Lake Area New Tech 55-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
