Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Intrinsic). They took down the Kelvyn Park Panthers 61-46 on Monday. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 49-21 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Intrinsic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Israel Paredes, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Brandon Loredo, who put up 16 points.

Kelvyn Park's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Laterryon Lee, who had 17 points. That's the most points Lee has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Jose Rodriguez Monterroso, who earned 15 points.

The win made it two in a row for Intrinsic and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Kelvyn Park, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Intrinsic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-27 defeat against Foreman on the 10th. As for Kelvyn Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-63 victory against Juarez on the 10th.
