Pendleton has not had much luck with Westside recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Despite the loss, Pendleton still got an impressive performance from Kory Jones, who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Michael Barnett, who scored 7 points along with 4 steals.
Westside got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kmajay Jenkins out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Jenkins' third in a row with at least ten points. Zeke Marshall was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Pendleton's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Westside, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Pendleton will be playing in front of their home fans against Carolina Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westside, they will head out on the road to face off against Spartanburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Spartanburg's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups.
