Alex Brennan posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
