After a string of seven wins, Niskayuna's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Christian Brothers Academy Brothers by a score of 8-7. The Silver Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Brothers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Niskayuna's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Christian Brothers Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-4 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Niskayuna will host South Glens Falls at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christian Brothers Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Shaker at 4:15 p.m. The Bison's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Brothers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
