After flying high against Corpus Christi Moody last Friday, Carroll came back down to earth. The Carroll Tigers fell to the London Pirates 53-48. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

London's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden Salinas, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave Salinas a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ac Carpentier, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for London, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Carroll didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 103-64 defeat against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial on the 20th. As for London, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-49 victory against Mathis on the 20th.
