Ryan has been open on Twitter about his brother's passing and the family laid him to rest in Hawaii, one of Tyler's favorite places.
Of his commitment, Ryan wrote: "After much discussion with family, coaches and friends, the time has come. I would like to be focusing on one school for the remainder of my high school career. ⦠This experience has been more amazing than I could have ever expected. Yesterday, I laid my brother Tyler to rest in the Pacific Ocean and I asked him for guidance and I got an answer and I've never felt better about a decision.
"I am excited and honored to say I will be committing to the University of South Carolina! Spurs Up!"
