Meanwhile, Tonopah Valley put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Phoenix Christian 35-14. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Tonopah Valley just coasted through the last quarter.
Tonopah Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sir-izzik S?nchez caldwell out in front who gained 140 total yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Malachi Wilt, who threw for 322 yards and a touchdown while completing 78.1% of his passes.
Pima has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43.67 points. As for Tonopah Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
