El Cerrito extended their postseason success on Friday against Heritage. They breezed by the Patriots at home to the tune of 55-17. El Cerrito might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won nine contests by 34 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, Windsor entered their tilt with Rancho Cotate with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. Windsor walked away with a 14-7 victory over Rancho Cotate on Friday. Given Windsor's advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 101st, while Rancho Cotate is ranked 225th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
El Cerrito has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 11-1 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Windsor, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1-1.
