Kimberly has gone a perfect 10-0 against Gooding recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will take on the Senators at 4:30 p.m. Kimberly will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Kimberly is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against South Fremont on Saturday as they made off with a 19-4 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Colton Sabin
Colton Sabin and MaCraye Bruning made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Sabin pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Bruning pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Sabin also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Kimberly is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-4 otherwise. At bat, Sabin scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Bruning scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5. Bruning has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
In other batting news, Gunner Stringham was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Ethan Maikranz, who scored four runs while going 4-for-4.
Kimberly always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Gooding sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over Salmon on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Senators.
Like Kimberly, Gooding also got a great game from a two-way player: Cougar Stockham. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 6.2 innings while giving up four earned runs off nine hits. Stockham was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cason Page, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Eli Esterbrook was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Kimberly's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Gooding, their record now sits at 5-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Kimberly has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Gooding struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Kimberly took their win against Gooding in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 8-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
