Bethel Christian posted their biggest victory since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 78-49 win over Cornerstone Christian. The victory was just what Bethel Christian needed coming off of a 64-30 loss in their prior match.
Bethel Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josh Coba, who scored 29 points along with six assists and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Frazier-Mathews, who dropped a triple-double on ten points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists.
Even though Calvary Baptist has not done well against Bethel Christian recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Calvary Baptist breezed by Bethel Christian on the road to the tune of 64-30. The win was familiar territory for Calvary Baptist who now have five in a row.
Bethel Christian's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Calvary Baptist, their win bumped their record up to 17-4.
