Garfield Heights' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Journey Rencher led the charge by scoring 21 points along with nine rebounds. The matchup was Rencher 's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Stacia Mobley, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Garfield Heights and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Bard Early College, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
