Softball Recap: Autaugaville Extends Winning Streak to Six

Autaugaville entered their tilt with Notasulga on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They didn't even let the Blue Devils on the board, marking their second-straight 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Autaugaville's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.4 runs over those games. As for Notasulga, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Autaugaville will challenge Calhoun at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Notasulga does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
