The Fivay Falcons posted their closest victory yet this season on Thursday. They skirted past Weeki Wachee 66-63. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Fivay.
Leading Fivay to victory were Dominick Walsh and Jose Morales. Walsh scored 11 points along with eight assists and two steals, while Morales scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Morales has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamarian Miller, who scored six points along with two steals.
Fivay is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. As for Weeki Wachee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.
Fivay will be playing at home against IMG Academy Silver at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. IMG Academy Silver is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Weeki Wachee, they will head out on the road to challenge Citrus at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Citrus is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
