Mendon Unity entered their tilt with Illini West on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23.

Mendon Unity's win bumped their record up to 26-4. As for Illini West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-12.

Mendon Unity didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Mt. Olive on the 25th. As for Illini West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Williamsville on the 28th.
