After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hiram, the Cartersville Hurricanes were happy to have found some success on Friday. They walked away with a 47-39 victory over Cass. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cartersville also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Cartersville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nas Bennett out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Ced McClinic was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Despite the loss, Cass still got an impressive performance from Dylan Miller, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jakai Baldwin, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cartersville will take on the Catamounts at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dalton is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season. As for Cass, they and the Yellow Jackets will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
