The Lee Williams Volunteers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Arizona College Prep Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lee Williams will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Even though Lee Williams has not done well against Bradshaw Mountain recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Lee Williams strolled past Bradshaw Mountain with points to spare, taking the game 38-21.
It was another big night for Noah Petrauschke, who rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 242 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes. Petrauschke was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 54 yards. Devin White was another key contributor, picking up 149 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Arizona College Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were dealt a 27-0 defeat at the hands of Arcadia. Arizona College Prep was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Lee Williams' victory lifted them to 9-1 while Arizona College Prep's defeat dropped them down to 7-3.
