Surrey put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They steamrollered Trenton/Trinity Christian 62-12.
Meanwhile, Ray/Powers Lake faced Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Ray/Powers Lake won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood 27-26. The Ray/Powers Lake offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the matchup anyway.
The last time the two teams met, Surrey were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap the last time the two teams met, as they fell 0-6 to Ray/Powers Lake. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
